From Screen, to Scene
I began my TV career on Channel 4's 'The Secret Life of the Zoo,' capturing animal births using a fixed-camera rig. I then assisted camera teams on '999: What's Your Emergency?' in Swindon, Wiltshire collecting their footage for the show. I went onto freelance for major UK broadcasters like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 on various contracts undertaking roles from runner, location assistant and DIT.
I've worked on projects ranging from a John Lennon documentary for a US broadcaster to reality shows in France, Spain, Zante, and Italy. Before the Covid pandemic, I joined CBeebies for two shows with Justin Fletcher (Mr. Tumble) handling the footage for the show liaising with the edit.
Post-Covid, I ran on Ru Paul's Drag Race UK vs The World for World of Wonder. I then concluded my TV career (and life in the Northwest) with Channel 5, providing tech and camera support for music clip shows featuring journalists, musicians, artists, and notable names in the music industry.
