Hello - I'm James!
I'm an experienced event photographer based in Oxfordshire. With years of supporting camera teams for broadcast television across the UK and Europe, as well as shooting alongside various directors with the BBC on Rip Off Britain & The One Show. I started my photography in 2021 to focus on local projects with businesses, musicians, artists, and organisations.
Equipped with professional gear, I offer a wide range of photographic services across the UK. While I cover everything from corporate headshots to weddings, my work most often takes me into the world of live entertainment — capturing the energy of concerts, theatre, and nightlife events as they unfold.
Services include:
- Headshots & Portraits
- Graduations & Ceremonies
- Full Event Coverage
- Weddings & Engagements
- Venues, Pubs, Interiors & Exteriors
- Food & Drink Photography
- Nightclub/Nightlife Photography
I provide options to suit all needs and budgets, so please reach out to me with your requirements, and I'll work to your schedule and budget as best I can.

From Screen to Scene
I began my TV career on Channel 4’s The Secret Life of the Zoo, capturing animal births via fixed-rig cameras. I then supported camera teams on 999: What’s Your Emergency? in Swindon, collecting footage for post-production.
Freelancing followed—across BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5—where I took on roles from runner and location assistant to DIT, and shot second camera for BBC Factual.
My credits span a John Lennon documentary for a US broadcaster, reality shows in France, Spain, Zante, and Italy, and two CBeebies series with Justin Fletcher (Mr. Tumble), where I managed footage and liaised with the edit.
Post-Covid, I ran on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World for World of Wonder, before concluding my TV chapter—and my time in the Northwest—with Channel 5, providing tech and camera support for music clip shows featuring journalists, musicians, and industry icons.
